The calculator does not apply a universal savings range. It compares the static and scheduled cost generated by the rates, speed tiers, hours, and site counts you enter.
A bandwidth schedule holds the peak tier during the business hours you choose and an off-peak tier the rest of the time. Auto instead holds the smallest tier that covers demand in each hour, scaling up immediately and scaling down after a run of quiet hours. Ethernet on Demand prices point to point links, which can be disconnected entirely outside business hours.
Yes. Add a site group for each kind of location. Each group can have its own speeds, hours, and site count, and the results show per-site and total cost across your whole footprint.
Ethernet on Demand uses its own hourly rate ladder and can be disconnected entirely outside business hours. Because it is a point to point link, port access is charged at both ends of every link.
Lumen Defender and DDoS Essentials bill against the bandwidth schedule rather than as a flat monthly fee, so hours spent at a lower tier cost less to protect. Defender is available up to 1 Gbps. Where an add-on is attached to a service that already exists, the one-time charge is shown as a separate line and is never part of a monthly total.
