CapEx to OpEx
Solutions · Network as a Service

Network as a service is network you consume, not network you buy.

Buying circuits and hardware on long contracts locks up capital and leaves you paying for capacity you do not use. Network as a service moves connectivity to a managed monthly line that scales with demand, delivered managed, self-service, or hybrid, whichever fits how you run.

Network as a monthly service CapEx to OpEx

Stop buying and depreciating network hardware and long contracts. Consume connectivity as a managed monthly service that scales with what you actually use.

Let us run it end to end, drive it yourself from the dashboard, or split the two. You choose how much of the day-to-day you want to own.

Bandwidth flexes up for peaks and down when sites are quiet, pairing naturally with Vigilis Flux so you never pay full price around the clock.

NaaS defined

What network as a service changes.

Network as a service is an operating model for consuming connectivity and related management as an ongoing service. The provider coordinates design, provisioning, service records, changes, and support while the customer sets performance, location, security, and approval requirements.

NaaS can shift eligible network spending from capital projects toward recurring operating expense, but accounting treatment depends on the contract and your organization's policies. It does not remove the need for network architecture, access controls, or service ownership.

Delivery models

Managed, self-service, or hybrid.

Model Customer controls Provider operates
Managed Architecture, policies, budgets, and approvals Provisioning, inventory, monitoring workflow, and carrier coordination
Self-service Configuration and approved service changes through the platform The service fabric, APIs, and fulfillment path
Hybrid Selected sites, services, or change types The remaining operational scope under shared controls
Fit check

Where NaaS fits, and where it does not.

Strong fit
Multi-site estates, changing capacity needs, several providers, and teams that want one operating workflow across the network.
Requires review
Locations with fixed legacy access, specialized hardware, unusual compliance obligations, or contracts that cannot support the intended service model.
Related control
Bandwidth on Demand can schedule eligible capacity, while NaaS defines the broader delivery and operating model.
The shift

Own the outcome, not the hardware.

Network as a service moves connectivity off the balance sheet and into a managed monthly line. Instead of buying circuits and gear on long CapEx contracts, you consume network as an elastic service, delivered and managed the way you want.

Network as a service (NaaS) delivers connectivity as a managed, on-demand monthly service instead of hardware and long contracts you buy and depreciate. It moves network spend from CapEx to OpEx and lets capacity scale with real demand.
Rather than purchasing circuits and equipment under multi-year capital commitments, you consume connectivity as a monthly operating expense that flexes with usage. That frees capital and lines your network cost up with actual demand.
Either, or both. We deliver NaaS managed end to end, as self-service you drive from the dashboard, or as a hybrid where we handle some sites and you handle others.
We provision and manage across carriers and fabrics like Lumen, Megaport, and Zayo, choosing the right underlay for each site instead of locking you to one vendor.
They pair naturally. Network as a service delivers the elastic underlay, and Vigilis Flux (Bandwidth on Demand) scales that capacity to demand so idle bandwidth never costs you full price. See the Bandwidth on Demand product for the details.
