This Cookie Policy explains how Socium IT LLC, a Georgia limited liability company d/b/a Vigilis (“Vigilis”), uses cookies and similar technologies on vigilis.io and the Vigilis platform. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include scripts, pixels, and local storage. They fall into two groups: cookies we set (first-party) and cookies set by our providers (third-party).
Cookies and Technologies We Use
On the vigilis.io marketing site, analytics, session replay, and advertising measurement load when you visit. You can switch them off at any time with “Cookie preferences” in the site footer, and they stay off on later visits. Cookies on the signed-in platform at app.vigilis.io are noted as such below.

We do not sell personal information collected through cookies. The LinkedIn Insight Tag does support retargeting, which under some U.S. state privacy laws counts as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. It loads by default and stops if you switch advertising off in “Cookie preferences” or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. See the Privacy Policy for how that is disclosed.
Your Choices
Analytics and advertising choices. Analytics, session replay, and advertising measurement are on by default on vigilis.io. Select “Cookie preferences” in the site footer at any time to switch them off or back on. Switching them off stops Google Analytics, DataFast, PostHog, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag from loading on later visits.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising measurement, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag does not load.
Analytics opt-outs. Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). LinkedIn members can control ad targeting in their LinkedIn account settings, under Advertising Data.
Browser controls. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and checkout.
Changes
We may update this policy as our tools change. The current version and effective date are always at vigilis.io/legal/cookies.
