This Privacy Policy describes how Socium IT LLC, a Georgia limited liability company d/b/a Vigilis (“Vigilis,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit vigilis.io (the “Site”) or use the Vigilis platform and related services (the “Services”).
This policy does not cover Modero (mymodero.com) or the Flux product (fluxiod.com), which have their own privacy policies, or the consulting services offered under the Socium Consulting brand.
1. An Important Note for Platform Users
Vigilis contracts directly with the businesses that use the Services. If your employer or another organization gives you access to the Services, or manages your information in the platform (for example, your name, work contact details, work phone number, or device and line assignments), that organization is our Customer, and we process that information on the Customer’s behalf under the Vigilis Services Agreement and our Data Processing Addendum. The Customer controls that data. Requests to access, correct, or delete it should go to the Customer; if you contact us directly, we will forward your request to them.
The rest of this policy covers information we collect for our own purposes: from Site visitors, prospective customers, and account holders.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you create an account, request a demo or downloadable resource, contact support, or transact with us: name, work email address, work phone number, company name, job title, account credentials, plan selections and order details, and the contents of your communications with us. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site or use the Services, we and our providers collect: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, session interactions, and cookie identifiers. Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics for Site usage analytics, Microsoft Clarity, which records session interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling to help us improve the Site, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag for advertising measurement and retargeting. Within the signed-in platform at app.vigilis.io we use PostHog for product analytics, which collects usage events such as features used, actions taken, and session information. See our Cookie Policy for how to give or withdraw consent on the Site.
Information from other sources. Business contact information from our customers (when a customer adds you as a contact or user) and from publicly available professional sources.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide, support, and secure the Services; to process orders and billing; to fulfill resource, inquiry, and demo requests; to contact prospective customers about our services; to analyze and improve the Site and Services; to enforce our agreements; and to comply with law. We do not use personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How We Disclose Information
We disclose personal information to:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf: hosting, cloud infrastructure, CRM, communications and transactional email, analytics, payment processing, and productivity tools. Each is bound by contract to process personal information only on our instructions and to protect it. Providers supporting the Services are listed at vigilis.io/legal/subprocessors.
- Professional advisors and authorities where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, reorganization, or sale of the business (including an assignment of the Vigilis business to a successor entity).
We do not sell personal information.
With your consent, this Site loads the LinkedIn Insight Tag, an advertising pixel that measures conversions from our LinkedIn campaigns and lets us show later ads to people who have visited the Site. Under some U.S. state privacy laws this counts as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. It loads only after you accept analytics and advertising in the cookie banner, and never if you decline or send a Global Privacy Control signal. See the Cookie Policy for the cookies involved and how to change your choice.
5. Categories Disclosure (U.S. State Privacy Laws)
| Category | Collected from | Disclosed to | Sold/Shared? |

| Commercial information (orders, billing) | You | Payment processor, service providers | No |

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under these laws, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The Site and Services are for business use.
6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
No sale; opting out of sharing. We do not sell personal information. The only sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising is the LinkedIn Insight Tag described in Section 4, and it is off unless you turn it on: it loads only after you accept advertising in the cookie banner, and never if you decline or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. To withdraw that consent at any time, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or select “Cookie preferences” in the Site footer and decline. You can also opt out by emailing comms@vigilis.io.
Your rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, access it, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, and opt out of sale or sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Submit requests to comms@vigilis.io; we will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will answer the appeal within the period your state’s law requires.
Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
7. Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for the cookies and similar technologies used on the Site and platform, and how to manage them.
8. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above: account information for the life of the account plus a wind-down period; billing records as required by tax and accounting law; prospect and visitor data for as long as reasonably needed for our business relationship or until you opt out or ask us to delete it. Retention and deletion of Customer Data after termination follow the Vigilis Services Agreement and, for personal data, the Data Processing Addendum.
9. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls, multi-factor authentication, and encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please use unique credentials for your account.
10. United States Only
The Site and Services are operated from the United States and intended for U.S. users. We do not target or knowingly collect personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always at vigilis.io/legal/privacy; superseded versions are archived. Material changes will be flagged on the Site or by email to account holders.
